Dillon Massengale, an award winning 20 year old rich baritone singing sensation from Branson, Missouri has a great start to his musical career.
In April 2021 he debuted his first self-titled country music album. It contains covers from Alan Jackson, George Strait and others and a few originals. He also played bass guitar on it. His family played with him on the album and Grand Ole Opry member, The Queen of Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent sang a original duet with him too!
At the age of 4, he was diagnosed with high functioning autism. He had trouble talking, didn't want to make eye contact and didn't show affection. Professionals told his parents that he would never do what he can today! With the help of doctorsdoing diet and detox and lots of prayers and therapy Dillon has overcome so much and is still making great strides. No one would ever know today what all he has overcome from 2008.
He showed signs then that he had a gift in music. If he couldn't say the words, he would hum them in perfect pitch. When coming from a musical family background it was not easy for someone on the spectrum who needed strict routines. Both mom and dad also worked shows day in and day out and routines would change regularly. They would try to push Dillon a little at a time without overwhelming him but had to keep on going. He went from not wanting to see music shows or movies because they were too loud to gradually loving them and sitting up close and not letting the noise get to him. By the age of 11 he made his very first appearance on a tv show out Branson where his mom and dad work called Branson Country USA and sang Christmas Cookies. It has been a favorite from all ever since.
After his album came out, he saved a precentage of his cd sales and donated to the Rock the Spectrum organization in his hometown to help other familes. He wants to with autism. He wants to help others on the spectrum and make friends.
August 16 2021 he sang his duet with Rhonda Vincent on the PBS special WoodSongs. The next night August 17, he got to fulfill a dream of his and on the Grand Ole Opry with Rhonda doing their duet there together!! The title of their song is called What We Don't Have written by Jerry Salley and Billy Yates.

And he also made a duet with Miss Leona Williams thats is on his latest album song title You Take Me For Granted what she wrote for Merle Haggard Dillon is so thankful and grateful for all 3 artists and others for what they have done him!!
